I think the issue is more with the combination of the SBA3 and the Law Tactical folder. Is sounds like that combination would exceed the 13.5 LOP that the ATF considers a gray area in regards to pistols and braces. I think this is why DD has the SOB brace on their Law Tactical versions and the SBA3 on the non-Law Tactical versions. The SBA3 slides on and off the buffer tube the same way a stock does. If you already have a lower with a milspec buffer tube already installed you just slide the SBA3 right on.
